Picture Day

 

"Hey Cindy, Can you help me pick out what to wear?" "OK, Addie." "Thanks, but can you stop calling me that, you know I don’t like that name." "Sorry, Addie, you know we can't. As your older sisters, we are encouraged, practically forced to embarrass you." "No one asked you, Jade, plus Beth is literally older than me by 7 seconds." "Don't drag me into this, Addison." "Too late." "Whatever, Thanks, Cindy," I said as I left for my room. Later that day, the girls were all laughing at dinner, and I asked what was so funny they nothing. At 5:30, all my sisters woke me up. "Pineapple." Pineapple was a code word Beth and I made as Twins. It basically meant no questions asked, and I owed her for last time. "WHAT?! It's too early for a pineapple." "Hop in the shower, use my shampoo, and shave." "Fine." I hopped in and did what I was told when I was done; I realized they snuck in and switched out my clothes for Pink panties with a matching bra. I put them on reluctantly. I went to Cindy's room, where they were all waiting. "Beth, you know you owe me BIG for this." "Sorry, they forced me too." "Undo your bra," Jade said as she got close to me with gelate-like things and put them on my chest. "Put your bra back on and let the PhantomBoobs set while we're waiting. Put this on," Jade said, handing me a bedazzled white shirt and a short black skirt. "Great, now we can do the fun part, your makeup." "Why are you doing this to me?" "We always wanted to be all sisters so we can have a fun girl's day, but with you as a boy, we can't, but now we can. Oh, and you really need an attitude adjustment." "What does it mean?" "You're a bit sexist." "No, I'm not." "Addie, one word. Cheerleaders." "One that was a bet, and two they deserved it for being so snotty." "You didn't have to do it." "You know we can give the Cheerleaders revenge for what he did." "Like how?" "We can make him join, and they do what he did to them." "PLEASE, NO! Anything else, I promise." "OK, After school, we'll have a girl's day out and get Addie her own closet to make sure she won't act out again." "You can't make me." "So Cheerleaders?" "*Sigh* What do you do for a girl's day out." "Normally shopping, mani/Pedi, and boy talk." Cindy finished my makeup, and Jade finished painting my nails red. "Addie is missing something. Oh, I know shoes." Jade said, holding 4in heels. "She can't start that high. She doesn't have time to practice. Here are some old flats I have." "Thanks" "But at the mall, she'll have plenty amount of time to practice." "Isn't Addie missing something, Cindy?" "Oh, thanks, Beth, here's your wig Addie, don't worry. We'll get you extensions at the mall." "Here, Addie, take this glass of water." "Thanks, Beth." I drank it all, and it tasted funky. "Did-What the heck, Beth! Now I sound like a girl." "I mean, that's better than looking like a girl but sound like a guy." "That's not the point, but whatever." *Click* "What was that, Jade?" "A keepsake." After that, we all piled into Cindy's car and drove to school. "Have a nice day at school, Addie." In short, I didn't, and to make it all worse, I couldn't retake my picture.
